PC moves on to regional finals

Plum City High School's volleyball team is the only one in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference left standings after Thursday's WIAA regional semifinals.

PLUM CITY - Plum City High School's volleyball team is the only one in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference still left standing after Thursday's WIAA regional semifinals.

PC downed Alma in five games at home. They rallied back from Game 1 and Game 3 losses to wins games 2, 4 and 5. The scores were 22-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-18 and 15-12.

No. 2 seeded Plum City will play Saturday evening against No. 1 seed Cochrane-Fpountain City at C-FC beginning at 7 p.m. The Pirates downed No. 4 seed Eleva-Strum in the other semifinal. C-FC downed the Blue Devils 2-1 at the Durand Quadrangular earlier this season.

Plum City improves their overall record to 28-16. Alma concludes its season 12-13 overall.
