BLACK RIVER FALLS - Prescott's Cole Hauenstein and Victoria Simones will be representing Prescott at the state cross country meet.

Both Cardinal runners qualified at the WIAA Division 2 Black River Falls Sectional meet held at Skyline Golf Course.

Simones, a junior, will run in her third straight state meet. She finished fourth in 16:55, making her a top five individual qualifier not on a qualifying team (which for the girls were Sparta and Viroqua).

Hauenstein, also a junior, was the top individual qualifier in the boys' meet. Like Simones, he finished fourth in 16:56, one of his fastest times of the season. An injury kept H
