Tara A. Waller, 39

Tara A. Waller, age 39, of Menomonie, Wis., died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, Oct. 21.

She was born Dec. 26, 1971, in Red Wing, Minn., to Bob and Kathryn (Johnson) Langer. Tara was a graduate of Elmwood High School and went on to get her certified nursing assistant certification. She worked with the elderly at many nursing homes in the area and was appreciated by those she served. She also worked for Community Health Partnership.

Tara loved her family completely, and she would have done anything for any one of them. She could enter a room and start a conversation with anyone. She really enjoyed talking with people.

Tara enjoyed riding ATVs and the outdoors in general. She loved going shopping and took pride in sniffing out a bargain. She was an avid Green Bay Packer and NASCAR fan and, in fact, she and Dave were married on Feb. 11, 2003, on Victory Lane at Daytona International Speedway. Tara loved small children and would spend time with her great-niece, Mercedes, who gave her great pleasure.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; parents, Bob and Jenny Langer; two sons, Jordan Langer and Dylan Kadinger; two daughters, Dana and Christina Waller; grandmother, Delores Johnson; sisters, Lisa (John) Polk, Paula (Terrell) Cooper, Jessi (Josh) Bleskacek, and Tonya (Kevin) Kitchner; brothers, Corey (Heather) O’Bryan and Chad (Sara) Langer; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Tara was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn; and grandparents, Bud Johnson, Emil Jr. and Margaret Langer, and Lloyd and Opal O’Bryan.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, Wis., with Pastor Kim Erickson officiating. Burial will take place in Grand View (Formerly Calvery) Cemetery, Dunn Twp., Wis. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home, and also 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
