David Strom, 55

David William Strom, age 55, of Ellsworth, Wis., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, at his home, from a heart attack.

He was born Sept. 23, 1956, in Red Wing, Minn., to Robert and Lucille Strom. He graduated from Ellsworth High School and Bethel University.

He enjoyed spending time with his three daughters and son-in-laws and three grandchildren. He loved sports and cooking gourmet meals for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; sister Cheryl; and brother Steve.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille; sister Kristin; brother Mark (Teresa); daughters, Lindsey (Matt) Quinn, Megan (Ben) Hines, Michele (Ben) Johnson; grandchildren, Ella and Kingston Quinn and Taelyn Hines; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He had a generous heart and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service for David will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Zion Covenant in Ellsworth. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the church and a dinner will follow the memorial service.
