MILWAUKEE - Darius Johnson-Odom led a six-man double figure attack in Marquette University men's basketball team's season-opening rout of Mount St. Mary’s 91-37 at the Bradley Center.

Junior Cadougan tied his career high of 10 assists in the easy victory that saw the Golden Eagles leading at halftime, 49-18. The early minutes of the game showed no indication of the way it would end. The Golden Eagles started so slowly coach Buzz Williams pulled his entire starting lineup off the court two minutes into the action. The starters returned four minutes and went on a 23-4 run led by Jae Crowder’s nine points. He finished with 14. The 22nd-ranked Golden Eagles shot 56 percent from the floor while winning their season opener for the 11th straight season.

Freshman Juan Anderson missed the action, serving a three-game suspension for accepting a free ticket to a Milwaukee Brewers playoff game.
