Site dispute affecting new Viking stadium question

MINNEAPOLIS -- There seems to be no question where the Minnesota Vikings want their next stadium to be. But there's still a push to build a new Vikings stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

Last night's meeting among local leaders and community groups included no representatives from the team itself. According to reports, the Vikings claim they weren't invited. Business leaders insist they were.

The Vikings have been lobbying for a site across the river in Arden Hills. Earlier in the day, Ramsey County commissioners approved 430 acres for development there. Supporters of that site hope that vote will lead to further negotiations on a stadium.
