Man dies in rollover crash near Prescott
A Minnesota man died in a rollover accident in the Town of Clifton early Tuesday morning.
A Minnesota man died in a rollover accident in the Town of Clifton early Tuesday morning.
Richard O. Faulkner, 27, St. Paul Park, was ejected from the 2006 Dodge Charger he was driving. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Pierce County Deputy Medical Examiner John Worsing.
Faulkner was headed south on CTH F when he failed to negotiate a curve just north of the intersection with Hwy. 29-35. The vehicle left the roadway entering an open field on the west side of F and rolled over, coming to rest on its roof. Faulkner was ejected from the car.
The accident was reported to the sheriff’s department at 3:45 a.m. Pierce County deputies were assisted at the scene by the Prescott Police Department, the Prescott Ambulance Service and Prescott Fire Department.
The accident was still under investigation by the sheriff’s department Tuesday.
Faulkner, formerly of Cottage Grove, was active in the St. Paul Park Heritage Days Festival last August. He helped to organize a motorcycle run and show during Heritage Days.
