Prep Bowl highlights finals of prep football season in Minnesota
Minnesota Sports-- The thirtieth annual Minnesota Prep Bowl kicks off this morning from the Metrodome.
MINNEAPOLIS -- The thirtieth annual Minnesota Prep Bowl kicks off this morning from the Metrodome.
Todays Championship games include the Nine-man title game between Edgerton/Ellsworth and Wheaton/Herman-Norcross which kicks off at 10 a.m. In Class 1A action Dawson-Boyd makes its first state championship appearance against Mahnomen at 1pm. In Class 2A Caledonia will try to make it four championships in five years when they take on Moose Lake/Willow River at 4pm. In the late game tonight in Class 5A Wayzata battles Eden Prairie.
Five of the past six Class 5A titles has been won by either Wayzata or Eden Prairie.
The 30th annual Prep Bowl wraps up play on Saturday, when Fairmont plays Saint Croix Lutheran for the Class 3A championship at noon, and Bemidji takes on Rocori in the Class 4A title game at 3pm.
