Bucks player rep says new deal is "fair enough"

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Bucks' player representative Luc Richard Mbah a Moute said the tentative deal on a new NBA collective bargaining agreement is quote, "fair enough."

He said it's not a great deal for the players, but it's good enough for the players to move in free agency while helping the owners make up for their losses. If the owners and players ratify the 10-year deal, training camp and free agency could begin December ninth.

The season would open on Christmas Day, and each team would play a 66-game regular season schedule -- 16 games short of the norm. Mbah a Moute said it would take a few days for the disbanded players' union to get back in business and then vote on the deal.
