Ellsworth High School wrestling team could face any of five of Minnesota's Class AAA top 10 teams this Saturday at the Coon Rapids, Minn. Tournament.

Four ranked teams from the large schools division will be competing in the tournament, which begins at 9 a.m. The Panthers, of course, are ranked as well at No. 2 in Wisconsin's Division 2. They will take on No. 10 White Bear Lake in the first round.

Other ranked teams in the tournament are No. 2 St. Michael Albertville, No. 8 Coon Rapids, and No. 5 Cambridge-Isanti.

The semifinals are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and the finals will be at 12:45 p.m. If EHS wins they will face either St. Michael Albertville or Moundsview.

Ellsworth's wrestling team will also be in action tonight against Somerset in a Middle Border Conference dual. Both squads are 1-0 in league action but the Spartans are 3-3 overall after going 2-3 in the John Timm Memorial Duals at Glenwood City last weekend. Somerset lost to Amery, Neillsville/Loyal/Greenwood and Glenwood City while beating Spooner and La Cross Aquinas.

Somerset has several talented wrestlers, including state runner-up Hayden Dvorak, Bobby Leroy and Gabe Flandrick.

The meet begins at 7 p.m. at Ellsworth High School.
