MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves clawed back from a 12-point deficit but fell to the Thunder 104-100 in the season opener last night at Target Center.

Michael Beasley missed the game-tying shot with 43 seconds remaining before Oklahoma City sealed the victory with free throws. Wolves forward Kevin Love says they're going to win a lot of games if they play they way they did last night. Minnesota only turned the ball over 12 times. Love finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds, Beasley scored a team-high 24 points, Ricky Rubio had six points and six assists in his debut and rookie Derrick Williams added 13. Thunder forward Kevin Durant led all scorers with 33 points and Russell Westbrook scored 28.

The Wolves play the Bucks tonight in Milwaukee.
