Little snow, lots of salt
A ribbon of white ran down Main Street (Hwy. 10-63) in Ellsworth early Friday and it wasn’t the center line.

A ribbon of white ran down Main Street (Hwy. 10-63) in Ellsworth early Friday and it wasn’t the center line. A salt truck appeared to have leaked its load. The driver apparently wasn’t aware of the leak because the spill extended for the length of the west business district, through the midway area and on into East End along the street. In a winter season with little snow so far, seeing this much white was almost like a novelty.
