Prescott High School's boys' basketball team brings its 8-1 record to Ellsworth to take on the 4-3 Panthers this evening. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.

The game will be a battle of tempo as Prescott will look to run the floor led by point guard Billy Brookshaw and wings Mike Lytle and Clay Seifert. They spearheaded PHS's recent wins over St. Croix Central on Tuesday and a pair of wins over big schools S. St. Paul and Park of Cottage Grove, Minn. at the South St. Paul Tournament.

By contrast Ellsworth will look to slow the tempo down and defend to keep the Cardinals from running away with the contest and then pick them off. EHS's top scorers include Lemoine Steffen and Alex Campbell.

Prescott is 3-0 in the Middle Border Conference while Ellsworth is 2-1.

Dunn-St. Croix boys basketball teams are also in action tonight. Spring Valley is at No. 11 ranked Elk Mound, Elmwood is at Boyceville and Plum City hosts Mondovi.
