Minnesota Sports-- The deadline is five p.m. today for communities to submit their final Vikings stadium proposals to Governor Dayton. And three cities are in the mix.

ST. PAUL -- The deadline is five p.m. today for communities to submit their final Vikings stadium proposals to Governor Dayton. And three cities are in the mix.
Minneapolis is expected to submit a plan for a new stadium on the current Metrodome site -- although some downtown interests favor other locations near the Basilica of St.Mary and and Target Field.
Ramsey County officials and the Vikings continue pushing for the Arden Hills site. And on Wednesday, representatives from Shakopee proposed what they're calling the "Entertainment Destination of the Midwest" -- a Vikings stadium in the same community as ValleyFair and Canterbury Park.
