ALMA - A snowmobile accident in western Wisconsin has taken the life of a 28 year old man from Minnesota.
The Buffalo County sheriff’s department reports Joseph Gillett and another man were riding snowmobiles in the town of Milton Friday afternnon when Gillett hit a cable strung between two fence points. He was knocked off his snowmobile. The other man wasn’t injured.
Gillett was from St. Charles, Minnesota. He died in a Winona hospital. Investigators think speed and alcohol could be contributors to the crash.
