Alma Center man charged with killing cat with remote controlled car
Western Wisconsin News-- If a 30-year old Alma Center man is convicted, he could spend 18 months in prison for killing a cat by using a remote-controlled car.
BLACK RIVER FALLS - If a 30-year old Alma Center man is convicted, he could spend 18 months in prison for killing a cat by using a remote-controlled car.
Brandon Zilk has been charged with felony mistreatment of an animal in Jackson County. The cat’s owner reportedly told authorities Zilk and his children were outside playing with the car when a cat tried to jump on it.
That car is capable of going 40 miles an hour. The woman told investigators Zilk hit the cat with the car on purpose and killed it. He has an initial court appearance scheduled for two weeks from tomorrow. The alleged crime happened last April.
