MINNEAPOLIS -- Three injured Minnesota Timberwolves players each practiced with the team at the Target Center yesterday.

Point guard J.J. Barea is hoping to return to action in tonight's game against Detroit. He is nursing a sore hamstring and ankle. Guard Martell Webster and center Brad Miller have each missed every game this season after undergoing knee surgery in the off-season. Both were on the practice floor yesterday, but neither is likely to play tonight. Forward Michael Beasley continues to miss practice with a sprained foot. The Wolves will have a light practice today prior to this evening's 7 p.m. game against the Pistons.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love continues to put his name in the record book. His 33-point, 11-rebound effort in Tuesday night's victory over Sacramento marked his 13th consecutive double-double to start this season. The last NBA player to begin a season with 13 straight double-double performances was Houston's Hakeem Olajuwon in 1992. Since 1975, only four other players have begun a season with 13 double-doubles. They were Olajuwon, Moses Malone, Bill Walton, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Tuesday's game also was Love's third consecutive game of scoring at least 30 points. That's the first time in the UCLA product's career he's done that. For the season, Love is averaging 25.6-points and 14.3-rebounds per contest.
