Fourth quarter run lifts T-Wolves to win over slumping Pistons
Minnesota Sports-- Minnesota Timberwolves standout Kevin Love collected 20 points and 17 rebounds as the Minnesota used a big fourth quarter to storm past the Pistons 93-85 at the Target Center last night.
MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota Timberwolves standout Kevin Love collected 20 points and 17 rebounds as the Minnesota used a big fourth quarter to storm past the Pistons 93-85 at the Target Center last night.
Minnesota outscored Detroit 29-14 in the final frame to secure its second straight win. Wesley Johnson, Anthony Tolliver and Nikola Pekovic had 11 points apiece in the win. Tayshaun Prince scored 29 points to pace the 3-12 Pistons, who have dropped three straight. Greg Monroe had 13 points and 12 boards in the loss.
The Wolves are at the Clippers tomorrow night in LA.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will go "old school" with their uniforms later this season. The Wolves will wear throwback jerseys of the old Minnesota Muskies for six home games this season. The first game will be February 1st against Indiana. Other "Hardwood Classic" dates include February 10th and 11th, and March 5th, 9th, and 30th. The Minnesota Muskies played in the American Basketball Association during the 1967-68 season.
