Plum City girls hoops has no trouble with Spring Valley

The Plum City girls basketball team breezed past Spring Valley 51-28 Thursday in Spring Valley.

SPRING VALLEY - The Plum City girls basketball team breezed past Spring Valley 51-28 Thursday in Spring Valley.

Senior Tiffany Clare led the Blue Devils (4-4, 4-4 Dunn-St. Croix) with 13 points and junior Marah Boyer added 11 points. Junior Heather Von Holtum finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

Emma Gustad and Emily Boisen each scored seven points to lead Spring Valley (0-8, 0-7 Dunn-St. Croix).

Plum City took a 28-12 lead into halftime.

The Blue Devils travel to Pepin Tuesday to take on Alma/Pepin, their first non-conference game of the season.
