MILWAUKEE - Lacking shot-blocker Andrew Bogut in the middle of the lane, the Milwaukee Bucks were left dealing with a driving Derrick Rose getting to the basket for 34 points.
Rose led the Chicago Bulls to a 107-100 victory at the United Center last night. Bogut will be out of the Bucks lineup for eight to 12 weeks with a broken ankle. Brandon Jennings matched Rose in the first half, pouring in 19 of his 25 points before intermission.
The loss snaps a three-game road winning streak for the Bucks who now have to figure out – once again – how to win without Bogut in the middle. They are home tonight for a game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Rookie Jon Leuer came off the bench to score 19 points in 20 minutes. But, Milwaukee was cold from outside, hitting just seven of 24 three point shots in the loss, dropping the team’s record to 7-11.
