PHILADELPHIA - Darius Johnson-Odom poured in 26 points, but he wasn’t the only Golden Eagle who had a big night in an 82-78 Saturday win at Villanova.

Jae Crowder added 20 and took down 11 rebounds as Marquette won its sixth game in a row. The Eagles record is now 18-4, including 7-2 in the Big East Conference.

Twenty turnovers doomed Wildcats. A three-pointer by JayVaughn Pinkston pulled Villanova within two points with 8-point-6 seconds left. Villanova had led with 6:15 left, but a technical on the Wildcats’ Maalik Wayns seemed to change the momentum.
