Minnesota Sports-- The University of Minnesota women's hockey team were easy 7-0 winners over St. Cloud State Saturday at the National Hockey Center.
ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The University of Minnesota women's hockey team were easy 7-0 winners over St. Cloud State Saturday at the National Hockey Center.
Emily West had two goals and an assist to lead the Golden Gophers while Amanda Kessel, Sarah Davis and Sarah Erickson both had a goal and an assist. U goalie Noora Raty had to make just 14 saves as Gopher put 46 shots on goal.
Minnesota is 24-4-2 overall and 18-4-2 in the WCHA while the Huskies are 5-23-2 overall and 4-20-0 in the league.
