PLUM CITY - The Plum City girls basketball team stifled St. Croix Central in a 44-22 victory Tuesday in Plum City.
Junior Marah Boyer and senior Tiffany Clare led the Blue Devils (5-8, 5-7 Dunn-St. Croix) with 13 points each. Junior Heather Von Holtum added 12 points in the win. Plum City made 8 of 19 free throws.
McKenzy Johnson scored 10 points to lead St. Croix Central.
The Blue Devils held St. Croix Central to four points in each of the first three quarters and led 22-8 at halftime.
“Pretty solid defense,” Plum City head coach John Pollock said. “Just a good, solid performance.”
St. Croix Central (1-16, 1-11 Dunn-St. Croix) made just 1 of 5 free-throw attempts.
The Blue Devils play Glenwood City Friday in Glenwood City.
