Twins pitcher Nick Blackburn had offseason forearm surgery, but says he is feeling great and has high energy as spring training approaches. The righthander is already in Fort Myers at the Twins spring training complex and has already thrown off of a mound. Pitchers and catchers are required to report by this weekend, but Blackburn got a jump by reporting early. He says he has a hard time "easing" into things and will likely be throwing at full strength soon. Blackburn figures to be one of the five regular starting pitchers on the Twins staff this season.
