ELMWOOD - The Elmwood Expos amateur baseball club hosts two fundraising events in two upcoming weekends.
On Feb. 26 the Expos will be hosting a poker tournament at the Sandbar in Elmwood from 1-8 p.m. The entry fee is $30 per person (unlimited add-ons for $25 for the first 2 hours) and the blinds go up every ½ hour. Payouts will be for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
On March 2 from 6:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. members of the Expos will be the celebrity bartenders at the Longbranch in Elmwood. Stop in and join the Elmwood Expos baseball team in a huge shindig at The Longbranch. Manager Kirk Holt, Starting Pitcher Dylan DeMotts, and stadium announcer Jared "Gub Schutz" will be bartending throughout the night. Events include Bar Olympics and/or Karaoke.
