PLUM CITY - Plum City was outscored 19-6 in the last 6:00 plus of the fourth quarter and fell 55-43 to Spring Valley at home Friday.
Foul trouble robbed the Blue Devils of their top players on the floor during this stretch while the Cardinals surged behind the scoring of Kyle Bosshart, who had 11 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter and Zac Webster, who scored seven of his 17 points in the fourth.
Plum City, 6-12 overall and 5-11 in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference played well on defense for much of the contest, helping them really from a 24-21 deficit at halftime to take a 31-26 lead in the third quarter.
