Fourth generation grocer adds Ellsworth store to family

It seems right Jason Nilssen is being welcomed to the Our Family brand of foods at the same time he’s adding Ellsworth’s supermarket to his family’s grocery businesses.
Last month, Nilssen switched the main supplier at his store in Baldwin to Nash-Finch, which has long served the outlet here most recently known as Hinck’s Economart.
The fourth generation of his family to be a grocer, he and wife Teresa have bought the local establishment from Steve and Sue Hinck and, due to the change, both properties will be served by a common supplier, carrying that Our Family brand. Nilssen’s Foods is the new name locally.
