Minnesota News-- Minnesota will play host to Scandinavian royalty later this year. The king and queen of Sweden have scheduled a visit to the state in October.

While in Minnesota, King Carl Gustaf XVI and Queen Silvia will visit St. Peter to help commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Gustavus Adolphus College.
The royal couple will also dedicate a new cultural center at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis.
