Wisconsin Sports-- Winners of the 2012 American Birkebeiner are Tad Elliott and former Olympian Holly Brooks.
HAYWARD - Winners of the 2012 American Birkebeiner are Tad Elliott and former Olympian Holly Brooks.
Elliott is from Durango, Colorado. He led an American sweep of the top three spots in the men’s 50-kilometer race from Cable to Hayward yesterday.
Brooks is from Anchorage, Alaska. She edged defending champion Catilin Gregg by just a half-second.
