The 2012 program had been prepared by the women of Malaysia, with focus on fair and just governance and harmony rooted in peace and welcome.
The Prescott Area Churches Association will participate in World Day of Prayer this Friday, March 2, hosted by St. John’s United Church of Christ in rural Prescott. The program begins at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon.
An offering will be collected, providing grants around the world with focus on social and environmental concerns.
The public is invited to join in prayer and fellowship at the church, five miles east of Prescott on Hwy. 10, then south on CTH QQ three miles.
