MILWAUKEE - Derrick Rose swished a 20-foot shot at the buzzer last night to give the Chicago Bulls at 106-104 victory in Milwaukee.

Rose was mobbed by his teammates at half-court while another crowd dominated by Chicago fans yelled “MVP.” The Bucks were greeted with boos, and they again felt like visitors in their own building. But it was not as pronounced as the Feb. 4th game when 70-percent of the sell-out Milwaukee crowd was Bulls fans. This time, there were 2,500 empty seats.

But regardless of where they play, the Bulls have had the Bucks’ number. The victory was Chicago’s eighth straight over Milwaukee – and it was the Bulls’ eighth consecutive win overall. Rose finished with 30 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds. Joakim Noah added 20 points and 10 boards, as Chicago shot 52-percent to Milwaukee’s 48.

Ersan Ilyasova had a career-high 32 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks, while Drew Gooden added 27 points. Brandon Jennings was limited to 11 points, after he averaged 31 in his previous three games. The Bucks were without forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute due to an injured right knee, and there’s no word on when guard Stephen Jackson will return from a bad hamstring.

The Bucks are now nine games below .500, and will host Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks tomorrow night.
