Authorities are trying to find a man accused of throwing projectiles into moving cars in Bloomington Minnesota, and scuffling with police in Saint Croix Falls Wisconsin.

39-year-old Gerret Parks of Bloomington was arrested last Friday for the vehicle damage. He posted a $50,000 bond on Sunday and then drove to Wisconsin – where he allegedly sped and drove drunk past the Saint Croix Falls police station, and scuffled with officers who tried to subdue him. A judge in Polk County let him go free on a $2,500 bond after that second arrest – and he was still being sought at last word. The bond was allowed after Parks was charged in Polk County with a felony count of evading officers. A preliminary hearing in that case is set for next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Parks was charged two days ago with four counts of property damage and one count of assault. Prosecutors said 14 drivers had their vehicles damaged when a vise and other projectiles were thrown at them between late December and late February. Officials linked Parks to five of those crimes – and the vise injured National Guard Sergeant Jon Stacke and caused him to spend three nights in a hospital. Authorities say when Parks is arrested, he’ll need to pay an $800,000 before he can leave the jail in Minneapolis.
