Proud grandpa shares seventh grader’s poetry

Dean Cook was a cook.
The Ellsworth native started his cooking career when he flipped burgers at the former Little Grand Café in the village, he said Thursday. Now a semi-retired chef, one of his latest culinary jobs was cooking part-time for the U.S. Air Force.
Also a grandfather, Cook’s proud of the poem with the military theme his granddaughter wrote for a class assignment.
