MILWAUKEE - Three Milwaukee Bucks scored 25 points or more in a 119-114 win over the New York Knicks Friday.
Knicks hit their first 11 floor shots and took a 28-18 lead early, but the Bucks came back. New York led a high-scoring game at half, 65-61. The Bucks started the second half with a 16-7 run and never trailed the rest of the way.
Twenty-six by Ersan Ilyasova led the way, including a crucial put back bucket in the final minute. Mike Dunleavy and Brandon Jennings added 25 apiece. The Knicks lost their fourth straight game despite 27 points and 11 rebounds by Amar’e Stoudemire. Jeremy Lin scored 20, handed out 13 assists and had four steals.
The win by the Bucks moves them to within two games of New York for the eighth and final playoff spot in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
