INDIANAPOLIS - Trey Burke posted a career-high 30 points as No. 10 Michigan rallied from a six-point deficit late in regulation to post a 73-69 overtime victory over Minnesota in a Big Ten quarterfinal.

Tim Hardaway, Jr. totaled 20 points for the Wolverines (24-8), who will face Ohio State in a Saturday semifinal. Andre Hollins scored 21 points and dished out six assists for the Gophers (19-14), who had bested Northwestern in their tourney opener on Thursday. Rodney Williams picked up 20 points and Austin Hollins added 11 in defeat. Burke hit two from the line with 1:46 left in overtime to make it 66-60, but Andre Hollins connected from long distance. Jordan Morgan hit 1-of-2 from the line before Hollins made both for a 67-65 game with 1:02 remaining. Burke's layup was countered by two more Hollins free throws, but Burke and Hardaway hit four straight from the charity stripe sandwiched around a missed three from Chip Armelin and the game finally belonged to Michigan.

The Gophers shot just 33.3 percent from the floor in the first half, yet emerged with a 23-20 lead.

Minnesota's 13-4 run which started after the midway portion of the second half eventually provided a 54-45 margin with 4:37 remaining after a Williams dunk, then a Burke layup and Zack Novak trey shrunk the Wolverines' deficit to four. Joe Coleman's bucket with 1:32 to play gave Minnesota a 56-50 edge, but Michigan was not to be denied. Novak hit from long distance on the next time down court to get Michigan back within three, then Evan Smotrycz hit an open trey with 17 seconds left for a 56-56 deadlock.

The Golden Gophers now await their postseason fate, mostly likely in the NIT.
