The Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce’s sixth annual Spring Fever Expo will feature several new businesses, in addition to the usual kids’ activities, prizes and giveaways.

It is also the biggest expo in recent years, with over 40 registered booths.

New to the expo are several new chamber members: The BakeShop and More, which is offering cookie decorating for the kids; JH Pure Photography, with photographer Joe Helgeson handling photos with the Easter Bunny; Crossings Inn and Suites; SERVPRO of the St. Croix Valley; and New Directions Acupuncture.

Other businesses offering special services at the expo include Ripley’s Rental and Sales, with the ever-popular bounce house; the Ellsworth Funsters, who are bringing back the Easter Bunny; Heartland Montessori School, offering a St. Patrick’s Day craft; and Flat Pennies, selling a lunch of hot dogs, beef sandwiches, chips, donuts, choo-chew cookies, train wheels on a stick and beverages.

Complementing Ellsworth’s local businesses are several home-based party plan companies: Cookie Lee Jewelry, Usborne Books, Norwex, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Pink Zebra, Origami Owl, Jamberry Nails, The Pampered Chef, Thirty-One Gifts, Vault Denim, It Works and Scentsy--the latter two are also new chamber Members.

Visitors can expect to see high-quality products, many available for purchase at the expo, in addition to incentives for party-hosting and door prizes. Jamberry Nails will be offering free nail decoration for the kids, while Scentsy is providing the prizes for the coloring contest.

The expo will be held this Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Ellsworth High School Gym and is free to the public. For a complete list of participating businesses, visit the Spring Fever Expo page on the chamber website: www.ellsworthchamber.com/spring-fever-expo.html.
