PRESCOTT--The Destination ImagiNation (DI) West Central Regional competition hosted by the Prescott Middle School on Feb. 25 “was a huge success,” said Yvonne Zarnstorff.
Anne Kressly and Zarnstorff are DI West Central Regional Directors and coordinated the effort. Several school districts had teams participating in the tournament, including: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, Altoona, Mondovi, Colfax, Bloomer, Cadott, New Richmond and Hudson. Each of the 42 teams who competed averaged six members.
So, there were about 250 students who took part in this year’s competition. The competitors’ performances included two-part presentations with an Instant Challenge. Prescott’s DI teams did an outstanding job.
