Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Danny Valencia had two hits, including a solo home run, as the Minnesota Twins earned a 5-2 decision over the Miami Marlins in Grapefruit League action.
Pedro Florimon added two hits and scored two runs for the Twins. Carl Pavano allowed two runs on five hits and three walks over 4 2/3 innings.
Hanley Ramirez had a two-run homer, while Omar Infante and Chris Coghlan had two hits apiece for the Marlins, who received five innings from Ricky Nolasco in which he allowed one run on five hits and three walks.
