LAKELAND, Fla. -- Luke Hughes hit a three-run homer to lead the Minnesota Twins past the Tigers 7-3 in Grapefruit League play Wednesday.
Twins right-hander Liam Hendriks gave up two runs over four innings in his first start of the spring. Detroit left fielder Delmon Young hit his fifth home run of spring training off Hendriks before Minnesota pulled away.
The Twins host the Orioles at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers this afternoon.
