First prep spring event takes place this afternoon
The first event of the prep spring sports season takes place this afternoon in River Falls as Prescott High School's track and field team takes part in a six-team meet.
The first event of the prep spring sports season takes place this afternoon in River Falls as Prescott High School's track and field team takes part in a seven-team meet.
Also participating will be Amery, New Richmond, Somerset, Osceola, St. Croix Falls. The meet gets underway at 4 p.m. at the Knowles Center on the UW-River Falls campus.
Other Pierce County track squads also begin their seasons this weekend. Ellsworth will be St. Mary's Indoor Invitational in Winona on Friday and Elmwood-Plum City participates in the Northern Badger Track Classic Saturday at UW-Stout.
