Wisconsin Sports-- Elliott Sadler finished ninth at yesterday’s Royal Purple 300 in Fontana, California, the first time he’s been out of the top-three.
FONTANA, Calf. - Elliott Sadler finished ninth at yesterday’s Royal Purple 300 in Fontana, California, the first time he’s been out of the top-three.
Nonetheless, he holds on to his points lead in the Nationwide Series standings. Joey Logano won the race.
Sparta’s Tim Schendel had the best finish by a Wisconsin driver, crossing the line in 29th place. Beloit-born Danica Patrick was knocked out when a piece of debris tore up her radiator. She finished 35th.
