Wisconsin News-- Six finalists have been named for Wisconsin’s 65th “Alice in Dairyland.”
Six finalists have been named for Wisconsin’s 65th “Alice in Dairyland.” They are Janesville Gazette reporter Ann Marie Ames, agri-business major Danielle Hammer from Beaver Dam, ag education graduate Rachel Erickson of Oshkosh, Generation Organic founding member Sarah Holm of Elk Mound, U-W Green Bay communications’ major Amy Manske, and marketing executive Rochelle Ripp from Lodi. Alice in Dairyland is a one-year employee of the state agriculture department who promotes Wisconsin food products at numerous schools, public events, and other appearances. The next Alice will be selected during three days of finals in Grant County May 17th-through-19th. The current Alice, Katie Wirkus, says the program has a strong history in promoting the diversity of Wisconsin agriculture.
