E-PC girls track places fifth at Blue Devil Invitational

The Elmwood/Plum City girls track and field team finished fifth out of 21 teams at the Blue Devil Invitational Friday at UW-Stout's Johnson Fieldhouse.

MENOMONIE - The Elmwood/Plum City girls' track and field team finished fifth out of 21 teams at the Blue Devil Invitational Friday at UW-Stout's Johnson Fieldhouse.

Elmwood/PC scored most of its 39 points in the relays, copping a first in the 3200 with a time of 10:29.90. They also finished fourth in the 1600-meter relay and third in the 800.

The Red Devils also received points individually from Elaina Danzinger, fifth in the 800-meter run; Morgan Sweeney, third in the 3200-meter run; and Marah Boyer, fifth in the triple jump.

E/PC's boys team was 18th in the meet with eight points, all coming from Seth Jones's second place in the 800.
