District Attorney cited in traffic accident

The Pierce County District Attorney was cited in a traffic accident March 27 in Prescott.

John O’Boyle, 49, River Falls, was westbound on Hwy. 10 when he made a left turn onto Dexter Street and collided with a vehicle driven by Amy M. Kemmerer, 39, Hager City. Kemmerer was eastbound on 10 when the accident occurred.

The accident happened at 3:16 p.m., according to Prescott police.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Both O’Boyle and Kemmerer were transported to River Falls Area Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

O’Boyle was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn. He has been district attorney since 1992.
