Vikings stadium bill clears first legislative committee
Minnesota Sports-- A Minnesota Vikings stadium bill cleared its first committee at the legislature on a voice vote Monday night in the Minnesota House. It is the first of what will be a number of committees in both the House and Senate that the Vikings bill will have to pass.

Team VP Lester Bagley says he's "very encouraged" and adds although the bill might need some fine-tuning, overall it's a "very good proposal." But tough committees are still ahead. After next week's Passover and Easter break, only two weeks remain until the April 30th goal that legislative leaders have set to end the session. But Bagley says the bill can still pass the legislature before then.
