Incumbents back on Ellsworth village, school boards

Voters in the Village of Ellsworth and the Ellsworth School District Tuesday returned incumbents seeking election to the respective boards, along with one newcomer.

Voters in the Village of Ellsworth and the Ellsworth School District Tuesday returned incumbents seeking election to the respective boards, along with one newcomer.

In the Village of Ellsworth, incumbents Michael Steele with 251 votes, Richard Hines with 227 and Richard Sweig with 208 were reelected to the three available seats on the board. Challenger Curtis Betthauser got 139 votes.

In the Ellsworth School District, where all but one municipality had reported as of Wednesday morning, incumbent Jeff Stockwell with 831 votes and challenger Susan Langer with 713 are expected to take the two available seats on the board. Challenger Robert Wittenberg got 448 votes.

All results were unofficial as of Wednesday morning.
