Sealed bids for the construction of a new Town/Fire Hall for the Town of Oak Grove, will be received at the office of Auth Consulting & Associates, Inc., at 406 Technology Drive East, Menomonie, WI 54751 until 3:00pm the 10th day of May, 2012, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Town of Oak Grove Town Hall at 1:00pm. on the 11th day of May, 2012. No bid shall be submitted by means of email, facsimile machine or similar equipment. The bids shall consist of:

Bid Package “A”: A General Contractor’s bid for site work, building construction,

HVAC, plumbing, electrical and utility work including septic

installation (excluding well installation).

Bid Package “B”: Permitting and installation of both a non-potable high capacity well

and a separate potable domestic well.

Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be examined at either of the following offices:

Copies of the Half Size (11 x 17) Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained from the Menomonie office upon payment of Forty Dollars ($40.00). A copy of the Plans on CD and a hard copy of the Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained from the Menomonie office upon payment of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00). Payments for Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents should be made payable to AC/a, Inc. and are nonrefundable. Plans are available for viewing at the Menomonie and Hudson offices. Plans will be available Monday April 16th, 2012.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a cashier’s check, postal money order, or surety bond to the Town of Oak Grove for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, and no bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid deposit. The Town of Oak Grove shall have power by resolution to reject any or all bids and to make further calls for bids in the same manner as the original call. Qualified bidders shall be properly licensed in the State of Wisconsin.

Notice: This is a State determined, prevailing wage project.

Envelopes containing bids must be marked on the upper left-hand corner “Proposal – Town/Fire Hall” and with the name and address of the bidder and the date and hour of the opening and addressed to Auth Consulting & Associates.

In general the work consists of the construction of:

- 6,400 sq. ft. Town/Fire Hall facility

- Relevant site work

- Relevant Utility work

Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bids.
