BALSAM LAKE -- It could be several days before a western Wisconsin man is charged with the assault of a Washington County Sheriff's deputy.
Polk County Sheriff Pete Johnson says 20-year-old Tyler Chute was found in a hide-a-bed couch inside a local home after an extensive manhunt. Chute is accused of punching and kicking a deputy in Stillwater Township, then fleeing on foot following a traffic stop last Thursday.
He must be extradited to Minnesota to face any charges.
