With most of the championship club's roster slated to return for this coming season, speculation centers on the team likely trading some picks today.
Single-game tickets for the WNBA Minnesota Lynx go on sale today. The Lynx won the WNBA Championship last season and return a bulk of the roster for this coming season, which opens on May 20th. Single-game ticket prices begin at ten-dollars apiece. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. and can be purchased via Ticketmaster or at the Target Center box office.

The University of Minnesota baseball team complete a three-game weekend sweep of Northwestern with a 6-0 win yesterday at the Metrodome. The win moved Minnesota's overall record to 20-17, while the Gophers are 6-3 in the Big Ten. Northwestern dipped to 10-22 overall and 3-9 in the league. Minnesota hosts Nebraska-Omaha tomorrow at the Metrodome at 6:35 p.m.

The University of Minnesota softball team knocked off Northwestern 6-3 yesterday in Evanston by scoring three runs in the top of the eighth inning and holding on to win. Eagan native Sara Moulton threw all eight innings to get the win. Minnesota is now 24-a15 overall and 5-7 in the league. Northwestern is 17-22 overall and 5-7 in the Big Ten. Minnesota hosts North Dakota State on Wednesday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road to take on the Pacers this evening. Minnesota's losing streak was extended to nine with a 115-110 home loss to the Thunder on Saturday. The Wolves fell to 25-36 with the setback. Tip-off tonight is at 6 p.m.

The Houston Aeros start the quarterfinal round of the Calder Cup Playoffs on Thursday. The Aeros are the eighth-seed in the Western Conference and face top-seeded Oklahoma City. Game Two of the best-of-five series is in Houston on Friday. The Aeros are the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild.
