EAU CLAIRE - An expert in international studies will serve as the interim chancellor at UW-Eau Claire.
Gilles Bousquet was appointed yesterday to serve until a permanent chancellor can be found for the Eau Claire campus. UW System President Kevin Reilly made the appointment. Bousquet replaces Brian Levin-Stankevich, who leaves next month to become the new president at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.
Bousquet grew up in France, and he’s currently the dean of UW-Madison’s International Studies. Bousquet will take over at Eau Claire on July 15th. Until then, vice-chancellor and provost Patricia Klein will be in charge.
